- Thursday, May 10 - Mother's Day Salad Dinner. @ 6PM. "Mothers Take the Cake!"
- June 11-15 - Vacation Bible School. Ages 3-Middle School.
- Sunday, June 17- Father's Day Breakfast @ 8AM & VBS Program @ 10AM.
- Saturday, July 14 - Annual Home-Made Ice Cream Social - serving starts @ 5PM. MENU: Grilled Hamburgers, HotDogs, Bratwurst, Polish Sausage, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Home-Made Pies & Cakes and of course plenty of delicious HOME-MADE ICE CREAM!
- July 23-26 - Revival Services @ 7PM. Special speaker will be Rev. William Morris. Monday & Tuesday will be held at Hamline Chapel UM Church; Wednesday & Thursday services will be at Walnut Grove.
- Tuesday, August 7 - WG Back-To-School Mall - 9am-12Noon & 1:30PM-6PM.
- Saturday, October 20 - Dove Brothers & The Dove Brothers' Band Concert @ 7PM. A Love Offering will be taken.

Walnut Grove UM Church is that friendly, family-oriented country church everyone is seeking. Nestled in a beautiful little valley along-side Pond Creek, southeast of Monroe City, we truly do care for one another. We laugh together and cry together and offer support when needed.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only way to God and without Him we would be lost. Only through the Grace of our Lord and saving blood of Jesus is our way to Heaven. Jesus is our intercessor with the Father. We believe Jesus was born of the virgin, died on the cruel cross and was raised from the grave and lives today with our Father in Heaven. We want to share the Good News with you and your family! Come and join us this Sunday!
Our Sunday school starts at 9:00am followed by Sunday Worship at 10:00am. We offer Sunday school classes for all age groups, toddler-adult. We have a more traditional adult Class with lesson books. We also have an adult Bible Study class where we study and reflect on the Bible’s teachings.
We are very active in our church family, as well as in our community! Join us for any of our gatherings, monthly pitch-in meals, musical presentations or any of the various activities down here in the country!
